بحضور عمدة مدينة ويندزور درو ديلكنز، ورئيسة لجنة شرطة ويندزور وعضو المجلس البلدي جوان جينياك، والرئيس السابق لشرطة ويندزور جيسون بيلير، ونائب رئيس الشرطة كاريل ديجراف، وعدد من أعضاء المجلس البلدي، أعلن مجلس خدمات شرطة ويندزور رسميًا عن تعيين جيسون كرولي رئيسًا جديدًا لشرطة ويندزور، بعد مسيرة مهنية امتدت لأكثر من 32 عامًا داخل الجهاز.
كرولي شغل خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية منصب نائب رئيس شرطة العمليات، ويُعرف بخبرته الواسعة في القيادة الميدانية، وبناء الشراكات المجتمعية، وتطوير أساليب العمل الشرطي الحديثة. كما تميز بالتزامه بالمساءلة المالية، وتحديث الخدمة، وتعزيز التنوع داخل صفوف الشرطة.
أبرز محطاته المهنية واهمها قيادة عمليات الاستجابة في ملفات ميدانية كبرى. و عمله كمفتش للدوريات، ثم كقائد للتحقيقات. حيث دوره القيادي خلال أزمة إغلاق جسر السفير.
كرولي، وهو من مواليد ويندزور، عبّر عن اعتزازه بهذا التعيين قائلاً:
“يشرفني أن أتولى منصب رئيس الشرطة، وسأواصل العمل مع فريقنا ومع شركائنا في المجتمع لتعزيز أمن وخدمات مدينة ويندزور.”

Jason Crowley Appointed as the New Chief of Windsor Police
In the presence of Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens, Windsor Police Services Board Chair and City Councillor Jo-Anne Gignac, former Windsor Police Chief Jason Bellaire, Deputy Chief Cariel De Graaf, and several members of City Council, the Windsor Police Services Board officially announced the appointment of Jason Crowley as the new Chief of the Windsor Police Service, following a distinguished career spanning more than 32 years within the force.
Crowley has served for the past three years as Deputy Chief of Operations, known for his strong leadership, community partnerships, and commitment to modernizing policing practices. His career is marked by key roles, including Patrol Inspector, Head of Investigations, and his notable leadership during the Ambassador Bridge blockade.
Born and raised in Windsor, Crowley expressed his pride in the new role, stating:
“It is an honour to serve as Chief of Police. I look forward to continuing our work with the community and strengthening public safety across the city.”
