ونزر – أونتاريو – الأحد 31 آب 2025 – اجتمعت الجالية الهندية في مدينة ونزر هذا الأسبوع للاحتفال بالمهرجان السنوي للأطعمة الهندية في ساحة الاحتفالات، حيث استقطب الحدث حشداً كبيراً وتميز بعرض غني للثقافة والتقاليد الهندية وكرم الضيافة.
وحضر الفعالية عدد من أفراد شرطة ونزر، من بينهم المفتش آندي راندال، ورئيس منظمة ICGO السيد غسان ساكا، والناشط السياسي السيد جيوان جيل، الذين شاركوا جميعاً الجالية احتفالاتها بهذه المناسبة المميزة.
تضمن المهرجان عروضاً موسيقية حية، ورقصات تقليدية، إلى جانب مجموعة واسعة من الأطعمة والمنتجات الهندية الأصيلة. وقد أصبح هذا المهرجان السنوي ركناً أساسياً في روزنامة ونزر الثقافية، مسلطاً الضوء على تنوع المجتمع الهندي وإسهاماته في النسيج المتعدد الثقافات للمدينة.

Indian Community Celebrates Annual Food Festival in Windsor
Windsor, ON – Sunday, August 31, 2025 – The Indian community in Windsor came together this weekend to celebrate the annual Indian Food Festival at the Festival Plaza Square. The event drew a vibrant crowd and featured a rich display of Indian culture, traditions, and hospitality.
In attendance were members of the Windsor Police Service, including Inspector Andy Randall, and President of ICGO Mr. Khassan Saka, and political activist Jeewen Gill, who all joined the community in marking this special occasion.
The festival showcased live music, traditional dance performances, and a wide variety of authentic Indian foods and products. The annual event has become a cornerstone of Windsor’s cultural calendar, highlighting the diversity and contributions of the Indian community to the city’s multicultural fabric.
Organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants and reaffirmed their commitment to keeping this yearly tradition alive, celebrating unity through food, music, and culture.
