WINDSOR, ONTARIO – A Chatham man has been charged with mischief for allegedly playing his music too loudly.
According to Chatham-Kent police, officers responded to a noise complaint on Partridge Crescent in Chatham on Tuesday night.
Since June, cops have responded to nine complaints over the level of the man’s music, according to police. Under the noise regulation, he was warned and charged.
The 28-year-old was detained on Tuesday and charged with mischief, which is defined as interfering with the lawful use and enjoyment of property.
He was released pending a trial date.
