Canadians across the country are feeling the impacts of climate change, from extreme heat and wildfires to floods and storms. As we continue to take bold climate action, we also need to make sure we\u2019re building resilient communities. And that\u2019s exactly what our National Adaptation Strategy \u2013 which was launched today \u2013 does

The strategy, backed up by historic investments from our government, focuses on building resilient public infrastructure, like roads and bridges that can withstand flooding. It also focuses on protecting and restoring nature and biodiversity, supporting the economy and workers, reducing the impacts of climate-related disasters, and more

By taking these steps to adapt to the impacts of climate change, we\u2019re going to be able to save lives by making sure Canadians have the information they need to stay safe. We\u2019re going to be able to avoid damage to communities by building more resilient infrastructure. And we\u2019re going to be able to protect our economy by strengthening supply chains
